Smart Growth & Preservation
Sunset Beach has doubled in population since 2000, and we face new challenges every day. I believe in responsible, sustainable development that protects our coastal resources and quiet charm while supporting small businesses and year-round vitality. My service on the Planning Board, including updating the Unified Development Ordinances, guiding the revitalization of Sea Trail, and advising on Angels Trace has shown me how thoughtful planning can preserve natural beauty while fostering opportunity.
Community Voice
​Decisions are stronger when they reflect the input of the people they affect. Too often, residents feel left out of conversations that shape their lives. I believe in proactive communication, sharing information openly, inviting input early, and ensuring all perspectives are heard. Sunset Beach belongs to all of us, and Council should reflect that shared ownership.
